Creand Wealth Management opens its new office in the Diagonal 532 building in Barcelona
The new facilities are more spacious, in response to the growth experienced in recent years and the strategic commitment to continue expanding the business.
Creand Wealth Management has moved its offices in Barcelona to new premises at Avinguda Diagonal 532, in the Colonial headquarters building, a strategic site located between Carrer de Tuset and Carrer d’Aribau. The new and modern offices, open since Monday 27 May, respond to the need for a larger and more spacious environment in line with the significant growth the bank has seen in Catalonia and which the strategic plan foresees will continue to increase.
In the last four years, the bank has almost tripled its business in Catalonia, growing by approximately EUR 1.1 billion in assets under management and reaching a business volume of EUR 1.65 billion by the end of 2023. This increase is the result of sustained organic growth over this time and the integration of Argenta Patrimonios and GBS Finanzas Investcapital A.V. Creand Wealth Management has thus consolidated its position as one of the benchmarks in independent private banking, family office and high-net-worth asset management in Catalonia. It is committed to attracting private clients, business families and institutional clients to whom it offers a personalised service and direct attention.
For financial year 2024, Creand Wealth Management expects to grow by EUR 125 million in Catalonia and to bring on new private bankers. The bank is also open to inorganic growth via corporate operations, provided they add value, complement the service the bank already offers and are aligned with the business and philosophy of Creand Wealth Management.
Ignacio Viayna, director of Creand Wealth Management in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, explains that “in recent years, in Catalonia we have grown mainly by offering external family office services to family businesses and institutions, as well as investment solutions to single family offices. Our growth plan for the coming years has prompted us to make this strategic commitment to move to larger and more modern offices, with a dual goal: improve the well-being of all our employees and to have an optimal space from which we can give the best personalised service and attention to our clients”.
The new office is located on the top floor of the building and spans 600 square metres. It is inspired by the human-centric model. It is configured with flexible, modern and functional spaces that adapt to new working models, through the design of open-plan areas, with high standards of technology and sustainability. The building has Breeam certification, one of the most recognised methods for assessing the degree of environmental sustainability of buildings, which guarantees a reduction in their impact on the environment, as well as greater comfort and health for all users. The siting, design and creation of the new office was undertaken with advice from Savills.
In 2023, Creand Wealth Management in Catalonia increased its business volume by EUR 130 million. It also welcomed six new professionals, bringing the team to 23 people (including 10 private bankers) and it plans to continue recruiting.
