Sandra Sieber joins the Crèdit Andorrà Board of Directors as an independent director

She has extensive experience as a business consultant in the area of technology and digital transformation, as well as many years of academic experience as a professor.

The addition of the new independent director strengthens the bank’s corporate governance.

The General Shareholders’ Meeting of Crèdit Andorra approved the appointment of Sandra Sieber as a new independent director of the bank’s Board of Directors. The addition of the independent director strengthens the bank’s corporate governance, in line with global banking industry practices. She also brings added value due to her background and experience as a specialist in digital transformation and technology.

Sandra Sieber holds a degree in Economics and Business Science and a post-graduate degree in Business Management and Administration from Pompeu Fabra University. She also has a PhD in Management from IESE Business School.

She has extensive experience at institutions such as Pompeu Fabra University, the PwC-IESE e-business Center and the Sloan School of Management, MIT. She is currently a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Information Systems at the IESE.

In addition, she has had a successful career as a consultant to companies for the incorporation of new technologies into organisations and digital transformation. She is on the advisory board of several companies in the banking and insurance sector, such as Imagin (CaixaBank Group), BBVA and Asepeyo.

With this new incorporation, the Crèdit Andorrà Board of Directors is made up as follows: Antoni Pintat Mas, chairman; Jaume Casal Mor, vice-chairman; Xavier Cornella Castel, CEO; Ramon Aznar Pascua, Alfons Casanova Martí, Rosa Pintat Santolària, André Roelants and Sandra Sieber, directors; and Àngel Cadena Falip, secretary (non-director).
