Óscar García Abad is the new Assistant to the Business Division of Creand Asset Management

This appointment strengthens the management company, with the aim of promoting its business plan and generating an increase in business volume and number of clients.

Creand Asset Management has appointed Óscar García Abad as the new Assistant to the Business Division. In his new role, he will promote the management company’s business, with the aim of boosting business volume and number of clients.

This appointment strengthens the organisational structure of Creand Asset Management. The growth of the management company is one of Creand’s strategic commitments, the basis of which is to promote specialisation within the asset management industry, to broaden the range of products and services available to clients, and to increase investment alternatives that add value to portfolios.

García Abad, who has almost 25 years of experience in the field of private banking and asset management, comes from the Banco Caminos-Bancofar group, where he worked as the director in charge of Private Banking and High Net Worth Banking. Previously, he worked as a Senior Private Banker at CA Indosuez Wealth Europe, and as an Investment Director at Crédit Agricole Private Banking and Amundi Iberia.

He holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the Universidad Europea de Madrid and the Complutense University, and he has a Master’s degree in Fixed Income Portfolio Management from Analistas Financieros Internacionales. In addition, he has the European Investment Practitioner (EIP) certification from EFPA. 

Creand Asset Management, which has a business volume of 1,600 million euros, has broadened its activities this year, with advisory services and discretionary portfolio management, as well as the management of venture capital vehicles and companies, such as the Private Equity vehicles. Currently, the company is in a position to manage all types of alternative investment vehicles.
