Creand Wealth Management has hired Cristina Carreras as a new private banker in its Barcelona office. The move is part of the bank’s growth plan in Catalonia, which is centred on a business model committed to personalisation and the highest quality customer service.
With the incorporation of Carreras, Creand Wealth Management now has a team of more than 20 people in the Barcelona office, where the bank has established itself in recent years as one of the leaders in the private banking and wealth management sector.
Cristina Carreras will be in charge of promoting new client acquisition, active portfolio management and the offer of financial services with the support of the advisory, management and tax teams.
With 25 years of experience in the financial sector, Cristina Carreras has joined us from her previous position at Universal Gestión Wealth Management, where she was an advisory director for the last seven years. Carreras began her career as a commercial and company manager at Caixa Catalunya, later moving to the private banking sector, first as a branch manager at Catalunya Banc and then as a private banking advisor at Citibank.
Carreras holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona and master’s degrees in Bank Management and Financial Transaction Risk and Return Analysis, both from Pompeu Fabra University. She also holds the European Financial Advisor (EFA) and Certified Effas Financial Analyst (CEFA) certifications from the Institut d’Estudis Financers (IEF).
