Creand strengthens its subsidiary in Miami (USA), Creand Wealth Management, consolidating it as a strategic hub from which the financial group will develop its business in the American market. The move comes following the sale of shares in its local investment advisory firm in Mexico.
Creand will continue to dedicate more resources to its Miami subsidiary, incorporating new financial advisors and analysts in the investment area. The company obtained a self-clearing license in 2019.
The Creand office in Miami sits at the center of the group’s financial activity in the American continent, where it manages an overall business volume of €1,939 million at the end of 2022. It specializes in offering advisory services and designing tailored investment solutions for customers and other institutions, including management, advisory, custody, and execution services.
This restructuring is in line with the group’s strategic commitment to strengthening international business in those places where it already has a strong presence. In addition to Andorra, Creand operates in Miami, Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia), and Luxembourg.
Xavier Cornella, CEO of Creand Crèdit Andorrà, explains that “the international business has continued to grow organically in recent years thanks to careful management and consolidation of the service. In Miami, we’re centralizing and strengthening the subsidiary to position ourselves as a benchmark in the private and institutional banking business and offer the best service in the region.”
