The Enlaira programme by Creand Accelera and Andorra Business for start-ups in the country concludes its first edition

The Enlaira programme, promoted by Andorra Business and Creand Accelera to support the growth of Andorran start-ups, has concluded its first edition after four months of specialised mentoring for emerging projects with potential for scalability. The initiative was launched with the aim of strengthening the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and contributing to economic diversification through business innovation.

In this first call for applications, 15 projects were submitted, of which three were selected, representing the health, education and green economy sectors. The selected projects took part in a personalised programme that combined individual mentoring sessions, strategic training and opportunities to connect with the business and financial ecosystem.

Each start-up received up to 30 hours of specialised mentoring, with content focused on areas such as business strategy, finance and investment, sales and marketing, operations, conflict management, and the legal and regulatory framework.

In addition to this technical support, the selected projects received a financial grant of €5,000 each towards the development of a strategic area of their business, as well as preferential access to financial services and business contacts.

The Director of Andorra Business, Judit Hidalgo, noted that this first edition has made it possible to confirm “the innovative capacity and entrepreneurial talent that exist in the country, as well as the importance of providing structured support so that these projects can grow and consolidate”. Hidalgo added that initiatives such as Enlaira help to “generate high value-added economic activity and position Andorra as a favourable environment for the development of start-ups”.

Santiago de Larrea, Innovation Director at Creand Crèdit Andorrà, stated that “with Enlaira we have been able to confirm that Andorra has entrepreneurial talent and projects with strong potential, and that the programme enables them to make a genuine qualitative leap. This first edition has allowed us to validate the model and learn how to evolve it in order to deliver even greater value to start-ups in future editions”. Andorra Business and Creand Accelera are already working on organising the second edition of the Enlaira programme, which will be presented in the coming weeks.
