Creand Accelera presents the projects of the European start-ups that took part in the Andorra Open Valley programme
- The Andorra Open Valley acceleration programme connects leading Andorran companies with start-ups, in collaboration with Plug and Play Tech Center, Setap365 and Caldea.
- The first edition of the programme closes with an event dedicated to open innovation and collaboration between businesses and entrepreneurial talent.
Andorra Open Valley, the European start-up acceleration programme run by Creand Accelera to connect innovative projects with Andorra’s leading companies, today closed its first edition with Demo Day. The event brought together around eighty attendees, including representatives of businesses, institutions and investors, as well as stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem in Andorra and the wider Pyrenees region. It showcased the solutions developed by the start-ups that worked with participating companies to address real business challenges.
The programme, which is run in collaboration with Plug and Play Tech Center (one of the world’s most renowned innovation hubs), Setap365 and Caldea, has spent the past few months connecting established companies with entrepreneurial projects to foster applied innovation and create new opportunities for cooperation. The eight participating start-ups (Novem, Doshi, ToumAI, Build38, Wastelocker, TUBR, Graphite Note and Gridbrid) have worked in areas such as improving financial and reporting processes, digital security and authentication to reduce fraud and improve the customer experience, demand forecasting, digital twins, seasonality management and digital inclusion.
The Andorra Open Valley Demo Day is also an event designed to encourage networking and put entrepreneurial talent in touch with potential partners and collaborators. In this respect, Santiago de Larrea, Innovation Director at Creand Crèdit Andorrà, stressed that “projects like Andorra Open Valley are an effective way to connect with talent, generate useful solutions and open up new opportunities for the future”.
During the event, the participating start-ups gave quick presentations of their projects. This was followed by a talk by Edgar Sanjuán, founder of Emogg Analytics, entitled Acceleration with returns: how start-ups and partners turn pilots into business. He explained how a relationship that begins in an accelerator can end up as an invoiced project and a recurring client. Sanjuán, who created a deep-tech company that combines neuroscience and artificial intelligence to measure audience attention and response at events, in spaces and in experiences, described how an acceleration programme led him to measure Telefónica’s stand at Mobile World Congress 2026. He concluded that “an acceleration programme is worth what happens after the photo. We didn’t come out of Madrid in Game with a diploma: we came out at Telefónica’s stand at Mobile, through one of the partners.”
Demo Day also featured a round table with representatives of Plug and Play Tech Center, Creand, Caldea and Setap365, who explained in detail how the start-ups’ projects can be turned into real applications within their companies, with improved processes and new innovative tools.
Andorra Open Valley is also sponsored by Feda, Andorra Telecom, Andorra Business and Ingeni Coworking.
