Creand enters into an agreement with Crescenta to distribute a Private Equity fund with a growth strategy
- The asset manager’s flagship venture capital fund, Crescenta Private Equity Growth Top Performers III, is the first growth fund to be marketed by Creand.
- Through this partnership, Crescenta expands beyond Spain for the first time, with the fund also set to be distributed in Andorra.
Creand Crèdit Andorrà has signed an agreement with Crescenta, a digital asset manager in Spain specialising in investment in private equity funds, for the distribution of one of its funds. Thanks to this agreement, Creand expands its range of investment products and will market a growth fund for the first time, which is aimed at clients in the wealth banking segment. For its part, Crescenta signs its first distribution agreement with a bank through the Creand financial group, thus consolidating its distribution strategy, after having collaborated with financial advisory companies and securities agencies.
With this agreement, Creand makes the asset manager’s flagship fund available to its wealth banking clients: the Crescenta Private Equity Growth Top Performers III. The bank, which already has other private equity funds within its product range, is taking another step towards improving the investment experience thanks to the technology and digitalisation of Crescenta, which has a very rigorous product selection.
Growth funds invest in established companies that are profitable, or close to profitability, and have strong growth potential. Through capital investment, this type of fund strives to accelerate the growth of companies both organically and inorganically, with the aim of generating long-term value. It should be borne in mind that this type of investment has a long time horizon and carries a risk of capital loss and low liquidity.

Guillem Escabrós, head of Private Equity and Private Debt at Creand Crèdit Andorra, explains that “we have signed an agreement that allows us to market a purely growth equity fund for the first time. Through this agreement, we give our wealth banking clients access to this type of investment asset that is gaining importance among investors and is increasingly in demand. At Creand, we aim to expand by offering differentiated and valuable products, and Crescenta has demonstrated a process for building portfolios that align with our quality standards”.
As for Ramiro Iglesias, CEO and co-founder of Crescenta, he stresses that “this new agreement not only recognises the quality of Crescenta’s products, it also opens the door to a new pool of investors who are looking to diversify their portfolios, both in Spain and Andorra, crossing borders for the first time. This agreement opens a new distribution channel for Crescenta and complements the current client base. Creand has established itself as a strategic partner with whom we expect to continue exploring new synergies”.
