The addition of the independent director strengthens the bank\u2019s corporate governance, in line with global banking industry practices. She also brings added value due to her background and experience as a specialist in digital transformation and technology.<br><br>Sandra Sieber holds a degree in Economics and Business Science and a post-graduate degree in Business Management and Administration from Pompeu Fabra University. She also has a PhD in Management from IESE Business School.<br><br>She has extensive experience at institutions such as Pompeu Fabra University, the PwC-IESE e-business Center and the Sloan School of Management, MIT. She is currently a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Information Systems at the IESE.<br><br>In addition, she has had a successful career as a consultant to companies for the incorporation of new technologies into organisations and digital transformation.
